He was predeceased by: his parents, Omaha Evans and Blanche Evans (Willingham); his wife Pam Evans; and his sisters, Sarah Ashburn and Sue Lasater.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tami VanHoy (Darius), Cathy Ryle (Bryan) and Missy Funk (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Evan, Allie, Matthew, Micah and Austin. He is also survived by his eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home of Irving Chapel (606 W Airport Fwy, Irving, TX 75062). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
