She was predeceased by: her parents, Pablo Medenilla and Valeriana Aranilla Medenilla; her husband Jose "Peping" Altamero; and her sons, Allen and Charles Altamero.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Altamero (Evangeline), Alan Altamero (Catherine), Mavel Floresca (Carlos) and Cherry Canales (Javier); her grandchildren, Daisy Altamero, Joy Altamero, Cayla Altamero, Christian Canales, Abby Altamero, Wolfgang Floresca, Broderick Floresca, Jordan Canales, Chad Altamero and Ethan Floresca; and her brother Romeo Medenilla (Violeta). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (403 S Main St, Duncanville, TX 75116).
