He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Nicol and Violet Nicol (Goodman). He is survived by: his wife Catherine Nicol; his children, Kathy Aucoin, Mary and Jody Hofacker; his grandchildren, Tasha Warren, Wesley, Kaela Hofacker, Dylan Hofacker, Morgan and Kenja Jameel; and his sister Betty Amon. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the Dallas–fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
