Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved George Horace Brown of Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away at the age of 88, on April 25, 2026. In the vast expanse of eternity, George shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid George farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Brown and Lilly Alexander; and his sisters, Shirley and Nina Sue. He is survived by: his wife Clara Brown; his son Brian (Marlo Brown) of Plano, Texas; and his grandson John Charles "Charlie" Brown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laurel Land Funeral Home (7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76134). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Andrews Catholic Church (3312 Dryden Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76109). A committal service will be held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Laurel Land Memorial Park (7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76134).
