He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lester and Pauline Doyle Banning The; his siblings, Betty Klissares, Pat Willeford, Helen Fenoglio, Joe and Neal Banning; his half-brothers, Tony, Barry and Gary Jostandt; Allen and Ricky Banning.
He is survived by: his wife La Juana; his children, Leo Banning, Renee Woods, Becky Harrison and Kathy (Jim Morse); and his foster daughter Sherrie (Mark Stanley). He is also survived by 19 grand children and 51 sweet great grand children.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ebensberger Fisher Funeral Home (1265 N Main St, Boerne, TX 78006).
