She was predeceased by: her parents, Rebecca Anguiano and Pedro Reyes; her siblings, Lydia Anguiano and Sam Jr. Anguiano (Gasper); and her brother-in-law Joe Alvarez.
She is survived by: her husband Alfred Avila; her children, Yvonne Avila of Dallas and Andy Avila (Julie) of McKinney; her grandsons, Aaron, Alfred, Alex (Murphy) and Evan; her great grandchildren, Giovanni, Ava and Aaron; and her sisters, Sarah, Connie and Yolanda.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jeter & Son Chapel (4830 W Illinois Ave, Dallas, TX 75211). A rosary will be held on Monday, April 20th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the Jeter & Son Funeral Home (4830 W Illinois Ave, Dallas, TX 75211). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church (4015 S Hampton Rd, Dallas, TX 75224). A committal service will be held on Monday, April 27th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
