He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Shelton Justiss and Helen Ida Roth Justiss; and his brother Richard Shelton Justiss, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Charnita; his son Gavin; his granddaughter Jaina; and his siblings-in-law, Nadine Nickeson (Rob) of Safety Harbor, Florida, Esther Turner (Kent) of Fairview, Texas, Glenora Patterson (Edward) of Amarillo, Texas, Gretchen Hoffman of Grand Prairie, Texas and Gilbert Spring (Joanna) of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Midlothian Funeral Home (200 E Ave East, Midlothian, TX 76065). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
