He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald McKinnis and Sandy McKinnis. He is survived by: his wife Laura McKinnis of Lumberton; his daughter Cayce Lipford (Scott) of Danville, Virginia; his stepson Ricky Meza of Beaumont; his brother Roy McKinnis (Julia) of Danville, Virginia; his grandsons, Colby and Carter Lipford of Danville, Virginia; his siblings-in-law, Howard and Linda Duvall of Beaumont; his nephews, Taylor McKinnis (Evelyn), Dallen McKinnis (Victoria), John McKinnis (Allyson Gilmour) and Jimmy Duvall (Lori); his niece Kim Outlaw (Michael); and his pet Miss Kitty. He is also survived by six great-nieces and nephews.
