We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2025, at the age of 96, John Hayden Christie of Arlington, Texas, born in Pensacola, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Christie and Agnes Christie; his wife Carol J. Christie; and his son Dennis H. Christie. He is survived by: his son Terrence J. Christie; his daughter-in-law Lisa M. Christie of Helotes, Texas; his daughter Nora C. Puckett; his son-in-law Dr. Frederic C. Puckett; and his grandchildren, Penelope C. Puckett and Frederic H. Puckett (Eric) of Ennis, Texas.. He is also survived by 6 nieces and 5 nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wade Funeral Home and Crematory (4140 W Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington, TX 76013). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (2100 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012). A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the DFW National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
