She is survived by: her husband Juan Ramon Fernandez; her children, Ricardo Ramon Fernandez of Dallas, Cynthia Fernandez of Uvalde, Melissa Raquel Castillo (Anthony Castillo) of San Antonio and Veronica Mercedes Fernandez of Dallas; her grandchildren, Antonio Marcial Castillo, Lucian Ramon Castillo, Dastan Carlo Castillo and Araseli Raquel Castillo; and her siblings, Ernest Riojas, Jose Riojas, Ricky Riojas, Eva Martinez, Elvira Rodriguez and Sally Riojas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home (424 Geraldine St, Uvalde, TX 78801). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (408 Fort Clark Rd, Uvalde, TX 78801).
