Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Jerry Wayne leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his wife Gail Perry; his parents, E. O. Perry and Mary Perry; and his stepchildren, Brian Keith Recer and Lisa Michelle Anderson.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Wayne Perry (Adina), Donald Lynn Perry (Beth) and Lowell Ray Perry (Trisha); and his stepchildren, Beverly Ann Thompson (Tommy) and Kevin Dwayne Recer. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Williams Memorial Chapel (1600 S Garland Ave, Garland, TX 75040). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
