He is survived by: his brother Paul Lamar Herbert; his niece Paula Herbert; his friends, Eric and Melba Andersen; and his caregiver Gracie Alvarez.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holmgreen Mortuary (2061 E Main St, Alice, TX 78332). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Coastal Bend State Veteran Cemetery (9974 I-37, Corpus Christi, TX 78410).
