She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Smith and Nellie Smith (Wilkey); her husband Albert Volcik; and her great grandchildren, Conner William Koby and Amelia Jo Del Salazar.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Koby (Paul) of Simonton and Lou Salazar (Lee Minton) of Houston; her sister Ann Corpening of Ft. Worth; her grandchildren, Michael Koby, Laura Hatfield, David Koby (Jacque), Amber Potter (Brian) and Beau Salazar (Victoria); and her great grandchildren, Cloe Yarborough, Stefan Hatfield, Parker, Delilah Koby, Landon and Audrey Potter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fayette Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory (967 E Colorado St, La Grange, TX 78945). A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM at the Grange City Cemetery's Lester (100-198 N College St, La Grange, TX 78945).
The family suggest that memorial donations be made to New Life Methodist Church, Amedysis Hospice or to a charity of one's choice.
