He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hayes and Gladys Hayes; and his siblings, Carmel Rich and Charles Shepard. He is survived by: his wife Shelli Hayes; his children, Nikkie Mulanax of Pampa, Michael Hayes and Christina Hayes of Yuma, AZ; his siblings, Janice Gilleland (Joey) of Pampa, Polly Murray of Miami, Jody Shepard (Kathy) of Panama, Wesley Hayes (Dale) of Panama, Jimbo Hayes of Miami and Jerry Hayes of Ardmore, OK; his mother-in-law Debra Barnes (Steve Chilton) of Pampa; his grandchildren, Nash, Jett, Easton, Bailey and Ashley; his niece LeAnne Hinton of Pampa; and his pets, Sam and Lil'Man. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Winegeart Funeral Home Serenity Chapel (300 W Browning Ave, Pampa, TX 79065). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
