He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Neill O'Rear and Alice Moreen Banner O'Rear; and his brother Clarence O'Rear. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie "Margie" O'Rear; his children, Shauneen O'Rear, Scott O'Rear (Li), Shawn O'Rear (Michelle) and Shaniece O'Rear; his stepchildren, Val Hicks, Valinda Markgraf, Karen Marotta (Tony) and Chet Markgraf (Tracy); his grandchildren, Shelby Bates (Dora), Sheldon O'Carroll (Marissa), Michael O'Rear, Maverick O'Rear, Mason O'Rear and Scotti Campbell; his great grandchildren, Sydney, Haley, Joey, Jubie and Everly; and his brother Wesley O'Rear (Kathy).
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (14151 U. S. Hwy 87 W, La Vernia, TX 78121). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mission Burial Park South (1700 SE Military Dr, San Antonio, TX 78212).
