He was predeceased by: his former wife Janice Rae Knight; and his parents, Leland B. Knight and Anna Mae Knight. He is survived by: his brothers, Jerry and Eugene Knight; his wife Karla; his sons, Charles Knight Jr. (Leslee) and Craig Knight; his grandchildren, Ryan Knight (Madison) of Fairfield, Texas., Lauren Knight of Fairfield, Texas., Abby Knight of Fairfield, Texas. and Emily Knight of Fairfield, Texas.; his nephew Josh Knight of Dallas; his niece Nikki Knight (Billy); his great-nephew Dylan of Dallas; his stepdaughter Jolie (Nate Hicks) of Stillwater; his stepgrandchildren, Dylan Hicks, Brooklyn Absher and Addyson Hicks; and his extended family, Jimmy Knight (family: Jay Garrett, Cameron), Jarrett, Lacey Casey Garrett, Julie Fountain, Kenneth, Jaime West, Jason, Wendi Taylor, Lexi Garrett, Jacey Jones, Jaylee Garrett, Jovie Garrett, Joe Ray, Amanda Aylor, Jack Garrett, Jett Garrett and Judge Garrett.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Corley Funeral Chapel (418 N 13th St, Corsicana, TX 75110). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (581 Farm to Market 416, Streetman, TX 75859). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the St. Elmo Cemetery.
