He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ortiz; his children, Garrett Ortiz, Ryan Hale and Emily Hale; his grandson Dallas; his sister Deborah Leonard (Marian Allen); and his children, Caroline and Kenneth (Bari). He is also survived by many family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Waltrip Funeral Directors (1415 Campbell Rd, Houston, TX 77055). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
He served as a member of the Spring Branch Foundation making sure the Spirit of the Bear stayed alive for all of us.
