He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kemper and Ruby Botts Kemper; his wife Ida May "Sam" Kemper; his brother Joe Kemper; his children, Max Brinckmeyer, Melinda Dube and Craig Brinckmeyer; and his grandchildren, Iris Brinckmeyer and Ty Pierce.
He is survived by: his children, Brent Kemper, Kevin Kemper, Bryan Kemper, Lynn Brinckmeyer and Jeff Brinckmeyer; and his grandchildren, Lanette Pierce, Willie, Gus, Kayla Brinckmeyer and Heather Welch. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial (6025 82nd St, Lubbock, TX 79424).
