He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Baetge and Eleanor Baetge; and his brother Allen Baetge (Pacita Grinder). He is survived by: his children, Erin White (Matt) and Justin Baetge (Claire); his sister-in-law Janet Baetge; his nieces, Allison Nitsch and Andrea Baetge; his cousins, Jimmy Gras, Cathy Gras and Gary Foerster; and his grandchildren, Grady, Coy, Lane, Ellie, Will, Evan and Caleb.
