He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Clark Cotton; his children, Tanya Cotton Carter (David) of Houston, Texas, Monique Cotton Ward (Jason) of Colonia and Sheldon Cotton (Stacy) of Houston; his grandchildren, Matthew Bulliner, Jr., Micah Bulliner of Chicago, Illinois, Faith Dempsey, Aysia Cotton and Aniah Booker; his great grandchild Percy Thomas Allen Poncio of Houston; his siblings, Elnora Singletary (Lank) of Lithonia, Georgia and Alonzo Ellis Cotton (Kim) of Florham Park; his mother-in-law Betty Burns of Charlotte; his siblings-in-law, Betty Key of Charlottesville, Virginia, Sheila Curtis (Garland) of Richmond, Virginia, Willa Parks (Lorenzo) of Charlotte, James Clark (Sherry) of Charlottesville, Clifford Burns (Blair) of Charlotte and Jerome Baker of Hillside; his cousins, Abdul, Ansari (Dianne) and Delores Williams (Cliff); and his friends, Nelson and Doris Eddie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (3205 Yost Blvd, Pearland, TX 77581).
