He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Rodriguez and Consuelo Rodriguez (Alvarado). He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Rodriguez of Athens; his children, Ramona Maldonado (Greg Frazier) of Athens, Connie Rodriguez (Gerardo Munoz) of Canton and Jason Maldonado (Brianna) of Dallas; and his stepchildren, Ricky Johnson of Athens and Melissa Deever of Athens.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home (842 NE Loop 7, Athens, TX 75752). A rosary will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Edwards Catholic Church (1310 S Palestine St, Athens, TX 75751). A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at the Beck's Chapel Cemetery.
