It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cleve Edward Pugh of Carrollton, Texas, who passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Cleve Edward may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Cleve Edward touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Pugh and Bertha Pugh; and his sister Earlene Massie. He is survived by: his wife Janice Kester-Colby; his children, Gary Pugh (Debra), Tammy Warshawsky (Stuart), Jaci Welch (Kenny) and Nancy Johnson (Carl); and his niece Dottie Pettigrew (Richard). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rhoton Funeral Home (1511 S Interstate 35E, Carrollton, TX 75006). A procession will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 7:30 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
