As Michael departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Michael. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, G. B. Young and Elizabeth Jewel Young (Allen); and his children, Duane Ray Simons and Dusti Danielle Williams. He is survived by: his wife Darline Young; his children, Douglas Simons, Courtney Young and Bryan Young; and his siblings, Alan Young (Melinda) and Anne McBurnett (Kevin). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous other loving family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hideaway Lake Community Church (1115 Lake Cross Rd, Hideaway, TX 75771).
