She was predeceased by: her parents, Faye Kurtz and Joe Kurtz; her husband Sylvan Ray; her brother Stanley Kurtz; and her grandson Preston Ray.
She is survived by: her former husband Howard Alexander of Tulsa, Oklahoma.; her children, Joel Ray (Terry), Cindy Ray Yablonsky (Bruce) and Harry Ray; her granddaughter Brittany Feldman (Josh); her son Colby Ray (Paige); her grandsons, Sylvan Ray (Alana) and Ryan Yablonsky; and her friend Adie Steinberg.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 5:30 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home (7405 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75225).
In lieu of flowers, the family is recommending donations be made in Helene's memory to the Southwest Jewish Congress http://www.swjc.org. and the Jewish Family Services of Greater Dallas http://www.jfsdallas.org. or a charity close to your heart.
