He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul F. Cannon and Dolores V. McMullen; his daughter Leann Dolan Coward; his stepfather Russel Houser; and his brothers, Paul, Jim and Bob Cannon.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Cannon; his daughter Delynn Dolan Alexander (Mike Alexander); his grandchildren, Carly Coward, Avery Coward, Nathan Coward, Ellie Alexander and Lucas Alexander; and his brothers, John and Joe Cannon.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home (7405 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75225). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Community (1000 Tinker Rd, Colleyville, TX 76034). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (7405 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75225). A reception will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home (7405 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75225).
