He was predeceased by: his wife Billie "Jerre" Simmons; his parents, Trevey Simmons and Violet Willson Simmons; and his sister Wanda. He is survived by: his daughters, Valli Simmons (Jeffrey Simmons) and Vanessa Kramer (Darin Kramer); his grandchildren, Chanel Copeland, Chris Copeland, Dylan Copeland, Colton McClain and Payton McClain; and his great grandchildren, Raven Copeland and Samuel Copeland.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the High Pointe Baptist Church (101 High Pointe Ln, Cedar Hill, TX 75104). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
