With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Caroline Stivers of Plano, Texas, who passed away on August 19, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Warner and Josephine Warner. She is survived by: her husband Lewis Elmer Stivers; her sons, Greg (Julie) and Jeff (Joanna); her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Grace, Samuel, Andrew, William, Alexander, Edward and Margaret Stivers; and her brother Donald Warner (Eileen).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Restland Funeral Home Chapel (13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75081). A rosary will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 at 7:15 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church (1201 Alma Dr, Plano, TX 75075). An entombment will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel Gardens Mausoleum II.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Joan's memory to St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church.
