It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Madelyn Linden in Mansfield, Texas, born in New Iberia, Louisiana, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Mary Madelyn departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mary Madelyn. Though Mary Madelyn may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Brown and Mabel Brown; and her husband August. She is survived by: her daughter Melana D (Linden); her grandchildren, Kayla S. Linden, Kourtland S. Linden, Janee'L. Linden and Sierra A. Linden; her sisters, Eva R. Brown Lewis (Joseph Lewis) and Catherine J. Brown Johnson; and her son Adrian Paul Linden.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home (1219 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the DFW National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
