With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Don Sturdivant (Monahans, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 24, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Jerry's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Jerry has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Sturdivant and Gladys Sturdivant. He is survived by: his wife Olivia Blackwelder of Wink; his children, Travis Sturdivant and April Jilek of Lubbock; and his grandchildren, Cheyene, Hunter, Seree, Brielle and Bruin.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Harkey Funeral Home (210 S Allen Ave, Monahans, TX 79756). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kermit Cemetery (110 S Tornillo St, Kermit, TX 79745).
