We are sad to announce that on August 24, 2025, at the age of 75, Carolyn Lawson (Mesquite, Texas), born in Dallas, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Smiley and Dorothy Evona Morgan; her son Mark Lawson; and her siblings, Mary Greenwalt, Jerry Morgan and Charlie Morgan.
She is survived by: her husband James Lawson; her son Shawn Lawson; her grandsons, Michael and Jonathan Lawson; and her siblings, Wanda Blackburn, Malana Singleton, Eddie Morgan and Reuben Morgan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended, family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Laurel Oaks Funeral Home (12649 Lake June Rd, Mesquite, TX 75180). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
