He was predeceased by: his mother Sharon Kay Smelley; his grandfather James Ray Smelley; and his aunt Janet Lynn Smithers. He is survived by: his father Arlen Ray Smelley, Sr. of Cushing, TX; his brother Joshua Smelley of Pasadena, TX; his aunt Sonya "Sissy"; his uncle Terry Faver of Cushing, TX; his cousins, Tommy Baxter of Dallas, TX, Chase Baxter, Terran Speaker of Mt. Enterprise, TX, Steven Kelley of Moody, AL, Talon Hart (Emeral Hart) of Pipe Creek, TX, Ashley and Darius Buckley of Lufkin, TX.; and his sibling's children, Winter, Ethan, Ashton, Addy, Ryan, Chelsie, Maizette and Phoenix. He is also survived by great-aunts, great-uncles, and numerous extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Dickie Allen Funeral Home (989 7th St, Cushing, TX 75760).
