She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonor Maldonado (Alvarez) and Vidal Maldonado; her husband Julio V. Garcia; and her brother Mario Maldonado. She is survived by: her children, Gabriel Rodriguez (Marina) of Dickinson, Jose Angel Rodriguez of Taft, Antonio Rodriguez, Jr. of Arlington, David Anthony Rodriguez of Rockport, Texas and Anna Marissa Rodriguez (Brad) of Taft, Texas; and her siblings, Andres Vasquez (Minnie) of San Antonio, Juan Maldonado (Alicia), Vidal Maldonado (Yolanda) of Austin, Texas and Viola Maldonado. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel (606 S San Patricio St, Sinton, TX 78387). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (120 E Escobedo St, Taft, TX 78390). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 at the Palms Memorial Gardens Cemetery (Portland, TX 78374).
