He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal King and Cordell King, Sr.; and his brother John Paul King. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his sons, Stephen (Brandy) and Matthew (Brandy); his grandchildren, Aden, Ryder, Cason and Paislee King; and his sisters, Carol Mitchell (Danny) and Sandra Benavides. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Skyvue Funeral Home (7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Walnut Ridge Baptist Church (1201 TX-360, Mansfield, TX 76063). A burial will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the DFW National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization close to the family's heart.
