He is survived by: his former wife Lydia Olivarez; his wife Marina Gomez; his children, Alicia Aguilar and Rolando Aguilar; his siblings, Beatriz Alaniz, Manuel Aguilar, Modesto Aguilar and Elena Aguilar; his children, Pablo Aguilar, Leticia McGee, Rebecca Garcia (Eugenio), Jose Luis Aguilar (Ernestina H.), Manuel Aguilar (Susana), Juan Pablo Aguilar (Audrey), Elizabeth Banda (Ricardo), Janie Ponce, Diana Fuentes and Leonor De La Cruz; his grandchildren, Jesse Cruz (Melissa), Jose Luis Jr. Aguilar (April), Jesse Ponce (Catherine), Adrian Ann Amaya (Carlos Ramos), Audrey Amaya, April McGee-Ramirez (James Ramirez), Dana Lynn McGee, Manuel Aguilar Jr., Michael Aguilar, Mark Aguilar (Jordan), Maxanthony Aguilar (Gabriela Villarreal), Michelle Aguilar, Juan Isaiah Aguilar and Jacob Robert Aguilar; his great grandchildren, Jared Cruz (Isabella), Jake Cruz, Alexandria Gabrielle Amaya, Kaitlyn Amaya Farrell (Malachi Sr), Ava Sophia Ramos, Charles Avery Ramos, Lauren Gonzalez, Adrian Jessup Amaya, Fernando Amaya, Eloy Sanchez-McGee, Jaxson Ramirez, Chloe Nicolette Aguilar and Alyna May Aguilar; and his great great grandchild Malachi Vin David Farrell Jr..

A prayer will be held on Monday, September 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A procession will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church (900 S 23rd St, McAllen, TX 78501). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Piedad Cemetery (1801 Wichita Ave, McAllen, TX 78501).
