He is survived by: his wife Susie Wright (Dotson); his children, Alan Wright (Billie), Sheri Wright Pavageau (David Pavageau) and Leary Pierce (Johnny); his grandchildren, Brock Wright (Jessica), Natalee Wright (Taner Renfro), Kimberly Farek (Troy), David Turney (Shalisa), Luke Wright (Courtney), Chelsey Guadagno (Ryan), Zach Pavageau, Destin Kimball, Whitney Bransom (Tanner) and Leslie Pierce; his great grandchildren, Rayden, Tinlee, Dominic, Arabella, Teyla, Sophia, Kara, Billy, Violet, Ace, Axl, Brayden, Dylan and Huxley; his siblings, Opal Aldridge, Bobby Wright (Mary) and Gary Wright (Jeanette); and his uncle Derryl Wiggins (Cindy).
A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Wolfe City (301 S Preston St, Wolfe City, TX 75496). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery (13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243).
