We are sad to announce that on August 29, 2025, at the age of 78, Mary Jeanette DeBerry of Sherman, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Schroeder and Robert Knabe; her siblings, Ethel Hennigan, Robert Knabe (Sonny), Charlie Knabe and Tony Knabe; and her granddaughter Muriel Thornton.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Jack DeBerry of Sherman; her children, Shellene Castilaw (Tim) of Midlothian, Gina Beaubien (Bob Kelly), Kim Mayberry (Gary) of Wylie, Texas and William Streng (Billy) of Irving; her stepson Dewayne DeBerry (Stephanie) of Tucson, Arizona; and her sisters, Frances Bayer, Katie Hamilton and Barbara Hacker. She is also survived by 17 grandkids and 15 great grandkids.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dannel Funeral Home (302 S Walnut St, Sherman, TX 75090). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the West Hill Cemetery (1304 W Lamar St, Sherman, TX 75092).
