He was predeceased by: his parents, Enrique Orona and Maria De Jesus Rangel; and his siblings, Severa, Victoria, Maria Joel, Socorro and Rojelio Orona.
He is survived by: his wife Matilde Esquivel; and his children, Enrique Orona (Lidia) of La Grange, Everardo Orona of La Grange, Angelica Yacovodonato (Pascual) of Houston, Alicia Cardiel (Miguel) of Arlington, Gustavo Orona Jr. of San Antonio, Veronica Anzaldua (Carl) of La Grange and Jose Orona (Caitlyn) of Round Rock. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center, Hospice Brazos Valley or to a charity of one's choice.
