With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Kasparek (Brenham, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kasparek and Grace Kasparek; his wife Emilia Kasparek; and his brother-in-law Richard Gregorcyk, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Carl Kasparek (Judy) and Mary Hightower (Paul); his siblings-in-law, Joe Gregorcyk (Sue), Nick Gregorcyk (Joan), John Gregorcyk, Michael Gregorcyk (Brenda), Virginia Gregorcyk, Mary Cash (John) and Paula Means; his brother James Kasparek (Debie); his grandchildren, Cody Hightower (Hanna) and Carleigh Schubert (Colton); and his great grandchildren, Harper Hightower and Caisley Schubert. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Memorial Oaks Chapel (1306 W Main St, Brenham, TX 77833). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (1104 Carlee St, Brenham, TX 77833). A burial will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Prairie Lea Cemetery (1004 Prairie Lea St, Brenham, TX 77833). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
