With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Margie Pearl Emswiler in Dallas, Texas, born in Como, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Q. Emswiler; her parent Early Slaughter (Bessie); her sisters, Bobbie Nell Slaughter Boles (Shelton) and Earline Slaughter Guthrie (Ian); her son-in-law Sidney Rohde; and her siblings' children, Joyce Guthrie Schoen, James David Guthrie and Johnny Guthrie.

She is survived by: her caregivers, Cheryl Lindsey, Tamisha Turner, Rochelle Westrup, Jordan Sims of Sitting Saints and Kyndrid; her children, Judy Emswiler Rohde, Tom Emswiler (Geneva), Reverend Gene Emswiler (Teresa), Lynda Emswiler Savage (David), Marilyn Emswiler and Donna Emswiler; and her great great grandchildren, Aiden Rohde and Blaine Rohde. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Forest Park East Funeral Home (21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

She requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to PHCH.
