Vernon; his siblings, Beverly Medeiros of Kentucky and Kenneth Coons of Kentucky; his grandson Thomas Shane Quinn of Como; and his great grandchildren, Cade Coons and Wooten.
He is survived by: his children, Donald R. Coons (Manon) of Missouri City, Debra L. Quinn (Thomas) of Winnsboro, Deanna L. Wooten (Anthony) of Waxahachie, Donna Meyer of Como and Dena Mayo (Corey) of West; and his siblings, Jerry Coons (Judy) and Janice Allen of Kentucky. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro (816 W Broadway St, Winnsboro, TX 75494). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Harmony Cemetery (659 Co Rd 2393, Winnsboro, TX 75494).
