As we bid Leonard farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Leonard is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his wife Jerri Heppel; his sisters, Lindsay Lowenthal and Lauren Lowenthal Gerard (Clay Gerard); and his siblings' children, Ryan Gerard (Katlyn Gerard) and Olivia Gerard.
Around the time of Covid, Lon and Jerri decided to leave the congested and fast paced life in Dallas for a quieter and slower paced life in Joshua, just south of Ft. Worth.
