We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2025, at the age of 88, Major Bennett Holland in Mansfield, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Major leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Randolph Holland and Irma Holland (Bennett); and his siblings, Mason Holland and Joan. He is survived by: his wife Mary Holland (Bedwell); and his children, Bruce Holland, Jr. (Cindy), Steve Taylor (Angie), Chris Taylor and Caron Palmer (Greg). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; beloved dog, Captain; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousin.
A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
