He was predeceased by: his father Marvin Marburger; his father-in-law Edward Strangmeyer; his grandparents, Wollie, Alma Marburger, Louie and Lizzie Ganske; and his grandparents-in-law, Edward, Minnie Strangmeyer, Eddie and Minnie Albers.
He is survived by: his mother Joyce Marburger; his wife Shanan; his sons, Mason (Katlyn Marburger) and Grayson (Katie Marburger); his grandchildren, Elodie, Winna, Merritt, Vyla, Heidi and Jessa; his siblings, Gary (Rocksann Marburger) and Beth (Jerry Kunkel); his mother-in-law Evelyn Strangmeyer; his siblings-in-law, Stacy and Rocky Ullrich; and his siblings' children, Clinton Marburger, Cody Kunkel, Payton Ullrich and Reanna (David Arvidson). He is also survived by extended family and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Oaks Chapel (1306 W Main St, Brenham, TX 77833). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill (6605 Old Independence Rd, Brenham, TX 77833).
