She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Teodora Martínez Prieto and Florencio Prieto; her close friend Cruz Luján; her siblings, Marcelina, Agripina, María, Guadalupe, Paula, Juan, Ramón, Cruz and José; her son-in-law Saúl Aranda; her great grandchild Ellie; her children, Javier Luján, Basilia (José Rodríguez), Alfredo (Olga Luján), Yolanda (Misael Macías), Pilar (Angie Luján), Ramón (María Luján) and Elia; Amá, Chita and Chuy. She was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Griffin Funeral Home (401 N Dalmont St, Hobbs, NM 88240). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (914 S Selman St, Hobbs, NM 88240). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the Prairie Haven Memorial Park (1900 E Stanolind Rd, Hobbs, NM 88240).
