He is survived by: his wife Shyrle Grisham Brooks; his sister Grace Allen Crumley; his daughter Shareen Elithe Vader (Morris); his stepchildren, Brad Brooks (Kelly) and Lisa Brooks Mayo (Dave); his grandchild Sharris Karyn Anderson (Chris); his stepchildren, Marissa Lynn Vader, Shawn Brooks, Tanner Mayo (Breana) and Laurel Mayo Baucom (Brandon); and his great grandchildren, Jason, Sadie Anderson and Shyler Mayo. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pennington Memorial Chapel (323 N Comanche St, San Marcos, TX 78666). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
