He is survived by: his wife Olivia Boatman; his sons, Jimmy Dee Boatman, Jr. (Miranda) of Joshua, TX and Jonathan Boatman (Ashley) of Arlington, TX.; his stepdaughters, Cherry Guerrero (Sergio), Debbie Garcia (Jose), MIchelle Lara (late Rene), Melissa Silvas, Traci Ramirez (late Gabriel) and Sally Silvas (Jaime); and his siblings, Madeline Tomasetti of Harford, CA and Darrell Boatman of Fresno, CA..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Pecos Funeral Home (607 W 3rd St, Pecos, TX 79772). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the Mount Evergreen Cemetery (63 Co Rd 203, Pecos, TX 79772).
Memorials may be given to the Reeves County Veterans memorial.
