He was predeceased by: his parents, E. P. Owens and Irene Owens; and his sisters, Betty Maples, Mary Tiffee and Gwen Carroll.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne; and his children, Jeffrey of San Antonio and Michelle of Red Oak. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and more friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Byrum Funeral Home (425 N Dallas Ave, Lancaster, TX 75146). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Lancaster (305 E 3rd St, Lancaster, TX 75146). A burial will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at the Edgewood Cemetery (695 Nokomis Rd, Lancaster, TX 75146).
