He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollis J. Willett and Sue Anna Willett; and his nephew Michael Lanier. He is survived by: his sisters, Kay Savage and Debbie Yancey; his brother-in-law Dorman Yancey; and his siblings' children, John Savage and Holly Lanier. He is also survived by numerous loving great nieces and nephews, first and second cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home (4216 S Bowen Rd, Arlington, TX 76016). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Methodist Church of Mansfield (777 N Walnut Creek Dr, Mansfield, TX 76063). A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sparkman-Hillcrest Cemetery (7405 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75225).
