She was predeceased by: her parents, Reyes, Sr. Rivera and Victoria Rivera (Soto); her daughter Juanita Mendoza; and her brothers, Cecil and Johnny Ray Rivera.
She is survived by: her son Andres Mendoza of Cactus, TX; and her siblings, Alex Rivera (Stella) of Dumas, TX, Mary Turrubiates (Rodney) of Arlington, TX, Reyes Rivera, Jr. (Nora) of Liberal, KS, RoseMary Hernandez (Arturo) of Amarillo, TX and RoseAnne Platt of Canyon, TX.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Morrison Memorial Chapel (1015 S Dumas Ave, Dumas, TX 79029).
