He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lola Elizabeth Kuykendall Southall and William Peyton Southall; his spouse Billie Ruth Cummings; his former spouse Shirley Kutta; his children, Dari Meyer (J. D.), Cindy Anderson (Kyle) and Mark Southall (Kathy); his sisters, Darla Brooks (Jerry), Barbara Biddy (Donnie) and June Billington; his grandchildren, Geoffrey, Jay Goff, Peyton, Cooper Anderson and Jake Southall; his stepgreat-granddaughters, Madysen and Lacey Gaona; and his caregivers, Joseph Nyirongo, DaShanda Johnson (Mimi), Charity Banda and Linda Washington.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 AM at the Restland Funeral Home (13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75081). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Restland Cemetery (13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75081). A reception will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Restland Reception Center (9220 Restland Rd, Dallas, TX 75243).
